There is always a brass connection on our semi-transparent plastic tanks. If you order this "drilled", it will be drilled out (opened) after production. The connection is so useable, and you can attach additional accessories like our Brass Tank Connection Sets to the internal thread of the brass connector/outlet. The liquid will get into contact with the brass connection.
If you order the tank with an "undrilled" connection the brass connection is also available on the tank, but not drilled out/through (so it will be closed). This means that the brass connection is completely covered with plastic from the inside and does not get into contact with the stored liquid. The connection is completely closed, and no extra plug is required for closing the connection. If necessary, you can drill the connection by yourself with a hole circle drill and use it normally.

In addition to the permanently installed brass connection, you can use our PE or PVC Connections-Sets in sizes of ¾ inch to 2 inches to install your own alternative connection. Please note that the desired place must be accessible via the lid. If you need additional connections in places that are not accessible via the lid opening, we can fit HDPE fusion sockets (welding sleeves with internal thread) to all semi-transparent plastic tanks.

Our blue PE-Tanks are always delivered without connections. Of course, you can also install connections in ¾ inch to 2 inch with our plastic accessories in the intended connection fields. These are located at the top (usually inlet) and bottom (usually outlet) of the respective tanks. If no connection fields are available, e. g. RPRK, RPRKH, RPRKV, you can also install accessories in all desired places likewise on the semi-transparent water tanks.

With our Tank Connection Sets or our PVC- and PE-Connections, you can easily install an additional connection for inlet, outlet or overflow on the plastic tank. For preparation, drill a hole of the required size in the desired place in the tank. To assemble, unscrew the nut and remove the white ring. Now push the connection with the black rubber seal from the inside of the tank through the prepared hole. From the outside of the tank, place the white ring and tighten the union nut. Please note that the desired connection place can be reached via the inspection opening/lid. For the adaptation, wrap the thread with Teflon tape (approx. 6 windings clockwise) and screw on further articles (e. g. tap, sleeve and hose nozzle). Now you can push the hose on and fix it with the appropriate hose clamp.

Spin Weld Outlets are additional plastic internal threads which are welded to the tank wall after the tank is produced. These can function as alternative connections, if the desired position for a connection is not accessible/reachable via the cover opening/lid.
